As an Arborist cat rescues start to pop up from time to time, our skill set lets us ascend trees safely, efficiently and without causing damage to the tree. It always gives us a great feeling of being able to utilize our skills to help families who are extremely worried about their beloved pets, and bring them down safely.
Dan is called out to rescue 9 month old Penny the kitten in Surrey, British Columbia from the very top of a Cedar tree next to a taller Douglas Fir tree. The family had tried many options already but luckily Dan was able to help out on a windy Sunday in February.
Rufus was a tricky little rascal to rescue. He had been missing for quite a few days and decided to climb a rotten western Hemlock tree.
This made him quite the challenge for Dan, as it required climbing 3 trees to be able to safely get to Rufus to rescue him.
